2008
All CCC women golfers, both experienced and novice, are invited to join our association. We play on Wednesday – the Morning 18-hole League will have an 8:30 or 9:00 a.m. shotgun (depending on the time of year), the 9-hole League will follow a half hour behind and tee times for the afternoon Twilight League will begin at 4:00 p.m. Members of all leagues sign-up weekly by calling the golf shop by 4:00 p.m. the Tuesday prior to each Wednesday game. Rich will take care of the groupings, and any cancellations will be called in to him.
Membership - $25: All members pay this fee which covers costs associated with the WGA such as the handbook, gifts, gratuities, locker room upkeep, administrative costs and awards (ringers, birdies and eagles).
Morning Spring League - $20: Spring League begins on May 7 and runs for 6 weeks through June 11. The “Game of Nines” will be played. The sum of each player’s four best weekly totals will determine the winners. This format has worked well for the past few years, and allows members who can’t commit to six weeks to still play and compete.
Tournaments/Games - $40: This fee covers Wednesday morning WGA tournaments and weekly games from June (after Spring League ends) through October.
Twilight League - $20 each session: Beginning on Wednesday afternoon, April 30, the league will run three 7-week sessions: spring, early summer and late summer; all sessions will begin at 4:00 p.m. and the weekly games will vary. The sum of each player’s five best weekly totals will determine the winner of the session. This format allows members who can’t commit to seven weeks to still play and compete. Twilight League players are eligible to play in all WGA special events.
Hole-in-One - $5.00: For your convenience, and to assist our treasurer with its collection, the hole-in-one insurance premium is included on the application. This insurance is not mandatory for membership in the WGA.

OPENING DINNER MEETING – APRIL 22, 2008
The WGA season will begin with an opening dinner meeting at CCC on Tuesday, April 22, at 5:30 p.m. We welcome all CCC women golfers to join us; one need not be a WGA member to attend. This is a great opportunity to see what we’re all about, meet our golfers, and enjoy dinner. Please indicate on the application form if you plan to attend. The cost of dinner will be billed to your house account.
SCHEDULE
The WGA schedule will be in our handbook, which will be available at the opening dinner, or, if you’re not attending, it will also be in the golf shop. The following is a listing of our major events. Once again both Member/Guest Tournaments and the Rally for a Cure Tournament will have rain dates. We will be strictly adhering to the Club policy that all participants competing for prizes have a current USGA handicap or play as a scratch golfer.
